Courtney Souto
Zumba Instructor
I started my fitness journey as a dancer at the age of 2 and a half. I always loved dance and became a dance teacher by the time I was 12, gaining the necessary qualifications to continue on this career path.
As I got older, I also got into going to the gym and trying out different fitness classes and found that this was also a great passion of mine and so after university I decided to train to become a fitness instructor and personal trainer.
I have since become qualified in GP Referral, Pre and Post Natal Exercise and Obesity and Diabetes Management, but my first love, teaching classes, has been my priority.
At the club, I teach the Thursday morning Zumba class but I also teach other fitness classes such as LBT, Body Conditioning and Cardio based classes around Derby.
Most recently, I have become the Principal of the dance school I grew up in, rebranding it as CCC Dance and Fitness, and teach both dance and fitness classes for all ages and abilities here too.
