I first started getting an interest within the fitness environment from around 2014. To begin with I started doing very steady cardio-based workouts before finding my passion for weight training! I soon found that weight training was my way of escaping, building confidence and living a healthier lifestyle. Weight training is now my main focus within my own personal fitness journey and I love it!! (Especially leg day!!) I have thus carried it on and turned it into a career by starting as a group fitness instructor.
Alongside training for my Level 3 Personal Training qualification, I also completed a First class Bachelor’s Degree in Special Educational Needs and Disability. Combining these together, I have really enjoyed enhancing my knowledge around certain topics; especially those surrounding health and fitness. As well as this, I have also loved training and educating people so that they too can feel fab! My next step is to look at linking both my PT qualification and my Degree so that I can maximise my skillset.
In my own time, alongside the obvious of training at the gym, I also love to read books, listen to music and buy more gym clothes!! (You can never have too many new gym leggings- especially Gymshark!).
