Before teaching Pilates I worked for many years as a behaviour psychologist. I began practising yoga, stretch and Pilates to overcome injuries and pain. Eventually I began to train in these disciplines and developed a fascination with movement patterns and muscle function. I became so intrigued in this that I eventually gave up my career in Psychology to focus on teaching what I was now learning to others, so that they too could move better and rid themselves of aches and pains. I now teach Pilates, Stretch and Movement full time and thoroughly enjoy every class I teach.
