I have been an enthusiastic medium and long distance runner for the last 10 years; regularly taking part in events from 5k through to marathon distances. It is through improving my performance by cross training including weights and a variety of cardio workouts that my passion for fitness grew.

With early experiences of sport being for the “cool gang” at school and not naturally having exercise as part of a regular hobby, I often found the gym environment intimidating. It’s having overcome this that a passion to help others find their own routes to health and fitness that prompted my career change in 2016.

Outside of work, I love food and often try new recipes that make healthy options tasty! I am also kept continually entertained by my Romanian rescue dog Mo; he’s a good excuse to get outside and enjoy the countryside and walk off the baking!

I am partial to the odd challenge having climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and been part of the winning team to complete the 3 Peaks within 24 hours.
